DAY 6 : El Nido Island Hopping Tour B (Small Group Tour) 



El Nido town, in northern Palawan, offers one of the best sunset views in the Philippines. It is also home to a handful of limestone islands, powdery-white beaches, and an amazing collection of marine life. This tour is perfect for guests who are already in El Nido and wanted to visit the different destinations the place has to offer. Each tour has a different experience so, it’s best to try all of them!

Snake Island Sand Bar :

The island's name came from its unusual snake-like shape, particularly the sand bridge that connects it to the mainland. Famous for its winding strip of white sand that appears at low tide, Snake Island offers a unique walking experience where you can literally walk in the middle of the sea.

Cathedral Cave :

Named for its cathedral-like interior, this majestic sea cave is a must-see. The towering rock formations and the natural light filtering through the cave’s entrance create an awe-inspiring atmosphere. Turquoise water awaits upon entering the main chamber of the cave. Although the water is very inviting for a swim, tourists are reminded that swimming is not advisable. High above, there are times when the roof of the cave casts a shaft of sunlight and illuminates the cave like a sanctum. The cave is also known for its swallow’s nests or edible bird’s nests, which are harvested by the locals, as the main ingredient in making an exotic bird’s nest soup.

Cudugnon Cave :

This limestone sea-cave, once used as a burial site by the ancient Cuyonon people, is not only a cultural landmark but also a natural wonder with its impressive formations. This tourist destination attracts guests not just because of its natural beauty, but also because of its great anthropological significance to Philippine history. It is said that Cudugnon Cave serves as a Neolithic burial site or a natural catacomb for ancient Palawenos and settlers from Borneo, making it a very important archeological site. 

Entalula Beach :

Known for its towering limestone cliffs and powdery white sand beaches, Entaluala Island is a perfect spot for relaxation and exploration. Although the island is mostly private and utilized by El Nido Resorts, the easternmost part of the destination is open to the public. This area boasts amazing sights and endless opportunities for exploration. The beautiful beachscape is teeming with distinct towering rock formations among a canopy of exquisite greenery, making for a perfect postcard photo. Like other neighboring tropical islands, Entalula is famed for its long stretch of powdery white shores and crystal-clear blue waters, alluring visitors to swim and relax. However, the island vibe remains serene and laid-back. 

Popolkan Island: 

This small rocky outcrop offers a magnificent snorkeling spot, featuring crystal-clear waters and an abundance of colorful marine life. Tucked away in the unspoiled seas of El Nido, Popolkan Island features soaring limestone cliffs covered in thick vegetation, encircled by glistening blue waters perfect for diving, swimming, and snorkeling. Popolkan Island provides a calm getaway with fewer boats and visitors, guaranteeing a peaceful experience.

Explore the historic Baclayon Church, one of the Philippines' oldest Catholic churches, established in 1727. This National Cultural Treasure and Historic Landmark showcases its original architecture and materials. Visit the quaint reception area and the small museum, where you can see intriguing 16th-century religious artifacts that offer a glimpse into the church's fascinating past. 

Corella Tarsier Sanctuary 

Discover the Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary in Corella, Bohol, and meet one of the world's tiniest primates, the tarsiers. Explore the ecotourism site’s exhibition area, cafeteria, and research centre. Learn about these fascinating endangered creatures and the sanctuary’s dedication to promoting eco-friendly tourism.

Loboc River Cruise (Lunch) 

The Loboc River Cruise is a standout feature of Bohol’s countryside tours. This scenic experience includes a generous buffet lunch or dinner served on a floating restaurant. The Bilar Man-Made Forest, also known as the Bohol Mahogany Forest, is a captivating two-kilometer stretch of lush greenery along the border of Loboc and Bilar towns. This reforested area, established over 50 years ago, is predominantly filled with white and red mahogany trees. As you enter the forest, you'll experience a refreshing change in temperature, especially during the hot season, thanks to the dense canopy. The uniform height of the trees and their expansive branches create a cooling shade, and the sight of the trees' roots, gracefully extending over boulders and curving around the landscape—adding to the forest's natural beauty.

Chocolate Hills 

Undoubtedly, Bohol's most iconic attraction is the Chocolate Hills.
